Camel Blazer

camel blazerThere are a lot of posts out there about basics and what everyone should have in their closet but I somehow only recently got the memo on blazers. I always thought they made me look like I was going to work in corporate headquarters somewhere. I finally had the realization after trying on and purchasing the blazer in this post, that if you have the right cut and details that a blazer can be wearable outside of an office.

I was lucky enough to find this camel blazer in a local thrift store but I linked on that was very similar and since camel is a big color right now I am sure you can find one to fit your budget. I paired mine with my favorite white tee and distressed jeans. I finished up the look with these statement shoes that had yet to make it onto the blog. They are a gorgeous caramel colored suede with the coolest gold detail on the top. Shoes have been on my mind lately, especially statement boots. I am loving the color block and metallic boot trend and I hope to find a cool pair for the rest of winter.
