Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! This week has dragged by and I haven’t been this excited for the weekend in awhile. Luckily its warming up just in time for the weekend and I have some fun plans, the most exciting of which is going to see Beauty and the Beast!! I’ll also be doing my friend’s sister’s hair and makeup for her prom on Saturday. In school I always bugged my friends to let me doll them up so this is going to be a fun opportunity.
Today is another look that I shot last week before Winter showed up again. Keep scrolling to see more of my incorporating pastels for spring look.
Happy Wedding Wednesday! We are almost a year out from the wedding and I am so excited because we have finally started to get some important things checked off of our to do list. So today I wanted to share with y’all a wedding planning update of where we are in the process. I have been keeping up with our to do list on TheKnot.com. They have an app so you can keep up with it even on your phone and check things off as you go. There are a ton of to do lists in every wedding magazine and all over pinterest but honestly that’s a little overwhelming so I am just sticking with The Knot.
Happy Monday! I’m a little slow to start today because of the time change but the extra hour of sunshine is totally worth it to me. I pulled out this look to wear while I soaked in some early Spring weather on Sunday before it turned cold again. I love when the look you have in your mind actually comes together in person. That is exactly what this blue monochrome outfit was for me.
Happy first day of March! Today’s look is one of my favorite shoots to date. I was browsing Asos for Spring and Summer pieces and as soon as I came across this one shoulder dress I hit ‘add to cart’. It’s one of those polarizing pieces that people love or hate. My fiance is on the hate side but I can’t help but love it. I have always had a soft spot for the one shoulder trend so now that it is coming back into style I am all over it!
Happy Friday! I just wanted to share a quick post today about 3 Spring trends that I can’t wait to start wearing. My favorite thing about these trends is that you can wear them subtly or go bold. You can also mix all three together if you want and wear a ruffled gingham wrap skirt – shown below!
Happy Wednesday! This past weekend I was able to get a glimpse of Spring weather on our quick trip to New Orleans. We made a quick trip to finally sign on our venue! I am so excited that the biggest task is now ticked off our wedding to do list. I’ll be writing more about the whole experience in March for the next Wedding Wednesday post.
