I’m a little late on a 2015 beauty favorites round up but I still wanted to get this post up anyways. I plan on including a lot more beauty content in 2016 and this is my first step in that direction.
Naked Smokey Palette – I got this palette very late but I felt I should still include it in this beauty favorites because I am already in love. The original Naked palette was my favorite for a long time but with the matte shades in this palette it is coming close to replacing it.
Benefit Roller Lash – This has definitely been the standout mascara of the year. I got a sample as a Sephora point perk and immediately became obsessed. This separates my lashes and creates amazing volume.
Mac ‘Diva’ – I have talked about this lipstick several times this year so I won’t go on about it too much. This deep berry shade is the perfect matte lip for the Fall and Winter. It doesn’t dry out your lips and lasts all day without much transfer at all.
Maybelline Brow Drama – This has completely replaced my Anastasia brow gel. The hold isn’t quite as intense but it still keeps my brows in place. My favorite thing about this though is the light pigment this leaves. It blends out the powder I use to fill in my brows so everything looks even.
Naked Skin Concealer – Where has this concealer been all my life! This stuff is so incredibly creamy, blendable, and pigmented. You can use a light shade of this under your eyes to brighten and use a darker color to cover up any spots or redness.
YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil – In the past I haven’t been much of a gloss person because I hated the sticky feeling and getting hair stuck on my lips. These have completely changed that. I love the extreme shine these give and when that wears off you are left with a gorgeous stain.
Make Up Forever HD Powder – During the fall I picked up this powder and have been in love with it ever since. It doesn’t leave a white cast in photos and sets my foundation and concealer flawlessly.
Ardell Individual Lashes –This year was the first that I started trying false lashes. I went all in with some very glam lashes and then decided to scale back. I kept seeing Tanya Burr use individual lashes and love the effect so I picked up some for myself. These are perfect for a more everyday way to wear falsies.
Khiel’s Midnight Recover Oil – Out of all of these products this is the star. It is my favorite purchase of the whole year. This serum has improved my skin so much. It helps with pigmentation and leaves my skin feeling so soft.
Lush’s Mask of Magnaminty – No surprise I included a Lush product in this post. I purchased and tried out a ridiculous amount of face masks this year and this one was a definite stand out from the first use. This mask is extremely cooling because of the mint, dries out spots, and is exfoliating when you rinse it off. It has all of the qualities that I look for in a face mask.
