3 Spring Fashion Trends to Try Now

A couple of weekends ago I went up to Scottsboro, AL to visit the Unclaimed Baggage Center. I talked about my last trip up there back in November 2017 and have actually been going there since my family moved to Birmingham. The Unclaimed Baggage Center is exactly what it sounds like: A store that sells items from lost/unclaimed airline luggage at a discounted price. I was so excited to head back to see what they had for Spring!

First of all, I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to look around. I spent 2 hours only looking at the women’s clothing and accessories. They also have men’s, kids, electronics, household goods, and even some designer items. The best designer deal I saw was a YSL bag in perfect looking condition marked down to $900! I really wish that one could have gone home with me. Basically no matter what you are shopping for you will be able to find it here.

On March 22nd & 23rd they are having their Spring Fling event which would be the perfect time to stock up on all your Spring fashion needs! The looks below are just some of the Spring fashion trends you can pick up at Unclaimed Baggage for a steal!

Clear pieces started gaining attention in 2018 and don’t seem to be going anywhere for 2019. There are vinyl shoes, bags, and even jackets! So there are a lot of different ways to incorporate Spring fashion trends into your wardrobe. I’ve been wearing these vinyl shoes non stop and they easily transition between a Winter (like this one!) and Spring look.

Neon is in full force this Spring and while I don’t usually wear a lot of bright colors, I don’t mind stepping out of my comfort zone with my accessories. You won’t see me wearing a lime green top anytime soon, but a neon purse or shoe would be a fun addition to an otherwise toned down look.

While styling pastels for Spring is nowhere near a new concept, you can change it up with different textures and combining it with unexpected colors. This denim cropped jacket is an easy way to incorporate pastels without looking like a walking advertisement for Spring. You get the casual look of a denim jacket with a fun color twist.

I LOVE the vinyl trend! I need to snag something so I can wear it this year for sure. I think the trend I’m most excited to try out is the hair clips! I’m a lover of pearls so I can’t wait to snag a few barrettes with pearls on them for my hair.

A YSL bag for $900?! That’s unheard of! I love the neon trend. I love colors so I am naturally drawn to bright hues. Like you though, I don’t foresee myself wearing a neon clothing piece anytime soon but an accessory like a bag sounds great!

I’m more of a pastels girl than a neon. I have never thought of the unclaimed baggage. I bet you can get some fabulous bargains – after all it’s probably super rich people that leave their baggage behind xx
