My trip down to Miami was a bit of a whirlwind. Between a family reunion, sightseeing, and grad school work, my days were packed. I did manage to get out and see a lot of things on my list and at the top of that list was Wynwood Walls. I’ve seen photos of these all over social media and I couldn’t wait to see them in person. They did not disappoint.
The whole area is full of art, even some buildings are completely covered. I highly recommend spending some time here is you are visiting Miami soon. They have a restaurant and juice shop if you get hungry. I would also recommend going early. It does get busy and it gets very hot as the day goes on. This may not be a big deal if you aren’t going in the middle of Summer like I did.

Since it was so hot I wanted to wear something simple to explore in. This tank top by Altruist Apparel was the perfect piece for that. I discovered this brand through Facebook and I fell in love with the concept behind it. The brand supports the empowerment of women and they donate a portion of our proceeds to organizations that help women and girls in developing countries have safe access to education, health care, and living conditions. This is a company I can get behind and it doesn’t hurt that the clothing is cute and comfortable.
Next week I will be sharing a lot more photos from my trip to Miami. If you want to see more in the meantime head over to my Instagram.
Such fun pics!!!
