I was so excited when this arrived in my mailbox. When I first saw the preview of this product I knew it would be a perfect addition to my collection. I love palettes because they are so easy to take on the go and have most of what you need in one place. I never bought the ‘Champagne Pop’ when it came out so I was excited to finally try out this hyped up product.
The packaging for this product is stunning. The outside is a glossy white with gold and silver specks. When you open it up it is a gorgeous reflective gold with all the colors and the same BECCA x Jaclyn Hill logo in the left corner. It comes with a transparent product cover on the inside letting you know the name of each product. The name and placement is also listed on the bottom of the palette. It is extremely sturdy and on the thicker side. It has an easy magnetic closure and a large mirror that covers the length of the lid. You can feel that this is not a flimsy product and I can not see it breaking unless you are just brutal to it.
‘Champagne Pop’ is exactly what it says. It is a gorgeous champagne colored highlighter with great pigmentation and luminosity. I could see this color working for almost any skin tone. It may start coming off too light if you have a very deep skin tone.
‘Prosecco Pop’ is a very true gold. This shade is more intimidating than it’s sister shade but if you mix the two together you get a very wearable highlight. This shade has the same great pigmentation and blendability as Champagne Pop. This shade may be too dark for extremely fair skin tones.
The blushes are quite a bit smaller than the two highlighters in the palette. Rosé Spritz is the in the top left and is a gorgeous coral shade with gold shimmer in it. This is a great blush to wear on it’s on if you only want a subtle highlight. Amaretto is the shade in the center that looks the least wearable, but it comes of gorgeous on the cheeks. It’s a matte, pale blush color for a little bit of warmth. Pamplemousse is the brightest of the shade is also a matte blush.
This palette retails for $52 which is cheaper than I thought it would be. The products are not the same as their individual counter parts but are still large in comparison to other palettes that are similar. These shades are gorgeous but they won’t flatter every skin tone. This palette would be great if you are new to Becca products and want to try out several products for one price.
