Gingham Skirt

Happy Wednesday! April has been kicking my butt with school coming to an end for the semester, family stuff, and we are moving into a new apartment tomorrow. I am actually really excited for the move because it will be the first time Matt and I will have a place for just us. I have been looking at Pinterest for ideas on decorating and I am excited for it to all come together. I have even started a Home Purchased under the Shop tab so if you are wondering what I have been buying just click there. I also wanted to know if you would be interested in me sharing our new apartment here on the blog. I have never talked about decor a lot so I just wanted to check with y’all. Let me know, please!

Now onto today’s look. I’ve been wanting to try out the gingham trend but I wanted to stay away from black and white and try something a little different. That was definitely found that in this gingham skirt. It is so comfortable and has the cutest ruffle detail. If you couldn’t tell I am also on a Topshop kick lately. They just have the cutest stuff right now.

I saw this top on another blogger on Instagram and immediately added it to my cart. I love the detailing all over it even though it is sheer so a cami or cute bra is necessary. I finished the look with this cute crossbody bag that I have been wearing a ton lately. I love the color because I don’t have anything else like it and it has the cutest tassel detail.

I just bought your outfit (top & skirt) on Poshmark. I went looking for more photos of it and found yours. You are so stylish. I love all your outfits, especially how you wear jumpsuits and rompers and off-shoulder dresses (that one at the beach is wonderful on you!). I’m very nervous about my skirt purchase b/c you say it runs small, and I got a 6 (everyone on Posh was selling a 6–prob most avail size on sale at Topshop!). If it’s tight, I’ll hate it. I usually wear a 4 skirt american size. The top I got as a 4, and that scares me too, but usually poly things run large. It was a huge impulse buy for me, which is also driving me crazy. Anyway, come check out my blog some time if you will: Looking forward to following you (already did on Twitter & FB) and seeing your lovely outfits!
