It Cosmetics | Beauty Brand Spotlight

Happy Monday! We are starting out the week with a new series all about my beauty brands and my favorite products. I know I tend to focus a lot of fashion but I have always had beauty posts scattered here and there. I wanted to talk more about beauty products because sometimes I get more excited about them then I do any fashion pieces. It’s not always easy to know what’s good or what works for certain skin tones or textures. So I hope this series helps some of your out and provides some answers for products you are curious about.

SHOP THE POST

I decided to start this series off with It Cosmetics. This is the brand that I have the most products of because they do both makeup and skincare really well. I was first introduced to It Cosmetics years ago through watching YouTube beauty gurus. A lot of them at the time raved about the Bye Bye Redness cream and ever since I discovered their products I have honestly been hooked. I have a lot more of their makeup and skincare products than I have shown here and they are honestly all good. I wanted to narrow down the products that I talk about today to the my favorites at the moment.

Anti-Aging Armour | This product is tied with being my favorite along with the Confidence in a Compact, which I will talk about next. I am not exactly sure how to categorize this product. It is basically a light tinted moisturizer/SPF. It is very light, has a little bit of coverage and lots of skincare benefits. To be honest with you this sat in my beauty cabinet for awhile before I finally tried it out but once I did I was hooked. This is going to be my staple beauty product for the Summer and is perfect for the beach. I personally don’t wear makeup to the beach but this is the perfect way to get some coverage while also having SPF 50 to protect your face.

Confidence in a Compact | This is one of their newest product and a fast favorite of mine. I had been using their CC cream but right now this is all I have used foundation wise. It is medium to full coverage, has anti-aging skincare in it and also SPF! Even though it has a high amount of SPF I haven’t noticed a white cast in photos. My favorite way to apply it is with a beauty blender to get the best coverage. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and lasts throughout the whole day.

Your Skin But Better CC+ CreamThis was the first product that I ever tried by It Cosmetics and that’s because it is definitely the most popular. I have seen this cc cream everywhere lately and for good reason. It is a full coverage cc cream that has serum and SPF in it. The shade range is small but it is able to blend well enough to work with different skin tones. It gives your skin a perfecting finish and lasts all day. There is also an illumination version I have yet to try but I have heard just as many amazing things about it too.

Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer I have found this product to be the most polarizing. It is an extremely thick counselor for your under-eye area. I normally don’t go for such a thick concealer but this covers up any dark under-eye circles so well. You can easily blend this out with a beauty blender but the thickness is just something to get used to. It also has some illumination to it to make the area appear brighter which I definitely need. They have a regular version without illumination too.

Confidence in an Eye CreamThis product is the newest to my It Cosmetics collection but I have been enjoying it so much that I thought it should be included. I have struggled a lot to find an eye cream that I love but I think I may have found it in this one. It’s a thick cream in the jar but goes on light. It also has something in it to brighten up your under-eye, which I definitely need.

It Cosmetics

Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Face PaletteThis is a great 4-in-1 palette that is perfect to take with you travelling. It is compact and has a bronzer, blush, setting powder, and highlight. The setting powder is my favorite of the 4 because it is their bye bye pores pressed powder. I also have a full version of this if that gives you any indication of how good it is.

It Cosmetics BrushesLast but definitely not least are their brushes. It Cosmetics makes some of the best brushes that I have tried. The one pictured in this post are the heavenly skin skin perfecting brush and the skin smoothing complexion brush. They are both amazing and I have quite a bit more from different holiday sets. They are so soft and incredible quality.

Vitality Lip Flush 4-in-1 Lipstick | Moving on to lip products for a second, I am going to start with a lipstick that is a little different for me. I normally gravitate towards lipsticks that are highly pigmented, and a deep color. This lip flush is the opposite of that. It is an ultra moisturizing light wash of color. I like to wear this to work because it isn’t an obnoxious color, its a stain so it lasts all day, and it is super hydrating, which I need in my office. It also comes in a range of shades.

Vitality Lip Flush Lip GlossI use this gloss on top of the lipstick I mentioned above for an even glossier finish. It gives a light wash of color and leaves a stain as well to seal in the color. This is great to layer on because it has a lot of nourishing oils to help out your lips and it is also supposed to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I can’t speak to that part but every bit of anti-aging helps.

Radiance Ombre BlushThis blush is absolutely gorgeous. The packaging alone and the ombre effect is so pretty but this is an all around great blush too. It has a gradient of color so you can focus your brush on the top half for a lighter more highlighted look or get a rosier, flushed look by focusing on the bottom. It lasts pretty well and comes in 2 other shades.

Congrats if you made it all the way to the end of this post! This was definitely a long one but I had a lot to say about these products. Also, this is in no way sponsored I just really enjoy this brand. I hope it helps you if you were on the fence about any of them or It Cosmetics in general. Have a great week!
