What’s in My Travel Makeup Bag

travel makeup bag

This weekend I am heading over to Atlanta with my two best friends for girls trip full of shopping and food. In most situations I am an overpacker but since this trip was just a quick weekend, I narrowed it down and I am making the most out of the products I am bringing. Keep reading to see what’s in my travel makeup bag for the girls weekend.

what's in my travel makeup bag

Estee Lauder Double Wear: An all day, full coverage foundation that I don’t have to touch up.
Urban Decay Naked Concealer: Weightless concealor for undereyes and spots.
Make Up For Ever HD Setting Powder: Translucent powder to set my face.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit: Pallete with highlighters, blushes, and a bronzer. See more here.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder: Brow powder duo for filling in.
Maybelline Brow Drama: Tinted gel that sets my brows in place.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: Liquid pen liner that lasts all day for the perfect cat eye.
Maybelline Full n Soft Mascara: I like to combine this with the next mascara for long, fluttery lashes.
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara: Great on it’s own but even better combined with the mascara above.
NYX Wonder Pencil: A nude pencil to line the waterline so I look more awake.

Mac Diva Lipstick: A vampy lip option for a night out or just during the day.
YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil: A glossy finish for day time wear.
L’Oreal Fairest Nude Lipstick: I also wanted to bring a nude lip in case I wasn’t feeling a dark lip.

Eye Lash Curler: Can’t leave home without this.
Real Techniques Flat Contour Brush: The perfect brush for bronzing or highlighting.
Morphe Brow Brush: A fluffy powder brush for setting powder and blushes.

I am working at it too. Clothes annd shoes are still a problem for me.

  • This is a great post to see your travel essentials. I usually miss half of the staff I need when packing 🙂

I always get anxiety before thinking I am going to forget something so I always make lots of lists.

  • Great list! Narrowing beauty products down for traveling is so hard! I always try to bring just 1 lipstick but end up with like 5!

    • Alicia

You always need more options with lipstick. What I want always changes with my mood.

  • Love it! Keeping lipstick in your travel bag is such a great tip! I just have a hard time not digging into my collection!

It is really hard but if I don’t pick a few I will want them all.
