Today I’m going to sharing with you a quick Miami recap post. Most of what I did I have already shared on the blog.If you want to see more photos from Miami head to the travel tab.
I really had an incredible time and was able to fit a lot in the four days we were there. Keep scrolling to find out the 8 things you must do in Miami.
I’m going backwards in showing you everything we did in Miami. I just loved the Wynwood Walls pictures so much that I put them first even though they were the last thing we saw. On our first day in Miami we headed over to the Vizcaya. It is a gorgeous estate that was built in the early 1900s. The estate and gardens make you feel like you are in Europe instead of Miami, Florida.
Heading to the beach is one of my favorite summer time activities. My friends and I usually make a trip to the Gulf coast but this year Matt and I got our beach time in Miami. The gulf coast still has my heart but south beach was definitely beautiful. I figured this would be the perfect time to show you guys what’s in my beach bag.
One of the best things about Miami was seeing all the sights that the city had to offer. I definitely tried to take advantage of this and shoot some really cool looks in unique locations. This is probably my favorite look we shot while down there. I loved the contrast of the little white dress against the colorful wall. This was also the first time in a while that my fiance has taken my photos and I loved how they turned out. I will definitely have to recruit him for often.

My trip down to Miami was a bit of a whirlwind. Between a family reunion, sightseeing, and grad school work, my days were packed. I did manage to get out and see a lot of things on my list and at the top of that list was Wynwood Walls. I’ve seen photos of these all over social media and I couldn’t wait to see them in person. They did not disappoint.
The whole area is full of art, even some buildings are completely covered. I highly recommend spending some time here is you are visiting Miami soon. They have a restaurant and juice shop if you get hungry. I would also recommend going early. It does get busy and it gets very hot as the day goes on. This may not be a big deal if you aren’t going in the middle of Summer like I did.
It is officially Summer as of Monday and swimwear is on my mind. Right now I am searching for pieces to bring with me to Miami and to wear for the rest of the summer. This year one pieces and off the shoulder bikinis are everywhere. I wanted to round up the best swimsuits under $100 that I could find for guys to help with your hunt for the perfect swimsuit.
